This feature film narrates the epic of two friends, Diego and Gael, who later encounter Edmundo, a bureaucrat whose life couldn’t be more than ordinary. Narro assures it is Orlando Moguel‘s character, Edmundo, who is the man of the show. Edmundo reflects the reality of a vast majority of Mexicans while the two friends enact the leftist elite. ColOZio is not only the second feature film premiered in Rotterdam by Narro after the premiere of his opera prima, Me quedo contigo, in 2015 but also Caso’s acting debut as Gael. The protagonists’ journey untangles complex issues not only in Mexican society but human behavior such as nepotism, elitism, and confronting defeat.
